This website is written for our parents and as an introduction to our school and for prospective parents who are considering Goldthorpe Primary School for their child. We hope you will find it useful and informative. We would like you to know as much as possible about our school and about the people who are going to share with you the responsibility for your child’s academic, social, emotional, creative and spiritual development.
We are very proud of our school and will be happy to show you around so that you can be fully informed before making the decision to apply for a place.
Goldthorpe Primary has 10 classes including Nursery and Reception units. There are currently 301 children on the school roll.
We aim to provide a caring, stable, stimulation environment where all children can develop their full, individual potential. The staff are committed to ensuring that all children’s time in school, is happy and successful. We aim to raise achievement in all aspects of the curriculum.
